Solution 1. Check your controller’s USB power cable

So if you find that your cable has been torn and worn off, get a new cable for the controller, plug it into the PS4 and the controller and check the light bar.

  • Next, make sure to unplug the power cord from the rear of the PS4 or you could simply remove the power plug from the sockets.

  • Basically, a sim card ejector tool would do, but if do not have the tool you can also opt for safety pins.
  • Now, you have to look at the rear of the controller.

  • Connect the controller to the PS4 via the USB cables.

If all the above-given solutions fail to resolve your issue then you can try to rebuild the database.
Rebuilding the database means re-organizing the PS4’s Hard drive.
The process cleans out the old and unwanted corrupted files which can never be read by the PS4.
Rebuilding the database also helps in creating spaces and helps to make the PS4 boot quicker.
Moreover, it does not erase any personal data and game files.

  • First of all, you have to turn your PS4 off and make sure not to unplug it.
  • Now, you have to press and hold the power button.
    And Keep pressing it till you hear two beeps in an interval of 7 seconds.
  • Connect your controller to the PS4 with the USB cables.
