Sony insists Playstation 5 will be released this year
Although we have to take this information as a rumor or a leak, the truth is that Sony has insisted on various occasions that PS 5 will be launched this year.
Recently Eric Lempel, director of the company, assured in an interview that its arrival on the market would be carried out with the same “magic and emotion” as previous releases.
If we look at Microsoft we can add truth to this rumor: the Xbox company has already confirmed that Xbox Series X will go on sale in November, although it did not specify its exact date.
It could well be the case that both consoles hit the market on a similar date and, if they did so on November 20, their premiere would be one week ahead of Black Friday, which is November 27, favoring the sale of devices such as televisions, sound equipment, and other peripherals.
We will have to wait to see how true these leaks are, also in terms of price, it has been discussed for several weeks given the rumors that Xbox Series X could cost less than PS 5.
