As we have known for a couple of days, the Chinese smartphone maker, Honor, is about to launch the new Honor Play 4 series on June 3rd.
This should include Honor Play 4 and Honor Play 4 Pro.
Not to be confused with the Honor Play 4T and Play 4T Pro previously presented.
Honor Play 4: New official teasers show the device in 3 colors
Well, today an Honor executive shared the first teaser for one of the two devices, the Honor Play 4 on the Chinese social network Weibo.
The smartphone seems to appear in all its beauty in three colors, black, blue and white.
This is also the first official teaser for the device.
As for the rest instead, we must rely on the leaks and rumors of the previous weeks.
In particular, we saw the device on the Chinese TENAA certification site with a 6.81-inch LCD display and 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution.
Then there was a 4,200 mAh battery and a plethora of RAM and storage configurations: 4 GB, 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM with 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB of internal memory.
In addition, we found a quad main camera configuration, consisting of a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP secondary camera and two additional 2 MP sensors.
While the front camera would have 16 MP resolution and it would be inside a hole on the screen.
Finally, the dimensions would be 170 x 78.5 x 8.9 mm for a weight of 213 grams.
Now we just have to discover the chipset, although many already suggest the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity 800; therefore a mid-range CPU.
The Pro version should instead use a Huawei Kirin 820 as a chipset together with support for 5G connectivity.
